Abyssal Refuge

I had the privilege of modeling for my cousin yesterday~! She works in cosmetology and is working on expanding her portfolio. She did the hair and makeup of me and another gal, and then we went out for a photoshoot courtesy of Nancy's Nature Photogaphy & Art . Been a while! Since I started work at Best Buy, my personal life has once again slowed up a bit in terms of getting things done...including getting blog entries up. The list of stuff I want to record just keeps growing, and I even have days set aside FOR blogging, but...priorities, you know. = / Anyway, this one should be simple and quick, so I'll go for it. I just carved my first pumpkin in about 6 years, so I wanted to document it. It looks a little...uh...crooked. xD My carving skills aren't that great. But I like how it turned out over all. The initial cut. I love the inside of pumpkins. It's slippery, but cool. xD I later cleaned the seeds and roasted them. I made a pumpkin man from the guts! He's contemplating his strange existence... Love me some pun'kins~ Hollowed out I found the shavings pretty, okay... :p Instead of taping on a pattern, I drew it on...with a sharpie. Bad idea. So, I went over the sketch lines with acry...

I'm having a real hard time concentrating on homework right now. Just need to pull back and do something else to regroup. There's a whole list of things I need to blog about, but let's do one I've intended to since February. 5 years in a row now, I've dressed up in some way or another and headed to an alley of cherry blossom trees in mid to late February for a photoshoot. This will be my last one here as I'm moving away from California this summer, but God knows I'll probably find some other place to do it next year. :] This was my first year doing it by myself. In previous years, I've always had a friend or two tag along, but I was okay being alone this time. HOLY FRIDGETOAST, BATMAN... I've been trying to start up the blog again now that I'm in a new semester, but I haven't found the time, I'm that busy this time around. If last semester was "impossible," this semester must be completely beyond all reason. I have SO much to talk about, and on the brink of passing out. I don't sleep, I hardly eat, and the workload is scary as hell. I'm completely worn out by the end of each day (even weekends), and yet still have to keep working. I am zombified. I'm going to blog about as much as I can tonight, but may have to save some for later due to the fact that I can hardly focus I'm so drained. This just needs to happen. My brain's gonna 'splode if I don't get this out. I'm going to go over my classes one-by-one and explain what's going on.
